Upon completing his undergraduate studies at Loyola University of Chicago, Dr. Thomas W. Rowley returned to his alma mater to study dentistry, earning his dental degree in 1980, at the top 10% of his graduating class. An honorary inductee of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Fraternity, reserved for outstanding students of dentistry, he has since developed a reputation for providing exceptional quality oral care here in Whitewater over the last 35 years. Dr. Rowley enjoys spending time with his loving wife of over 40 years now, and is a proud father of five and grandfather of seven.
Taking his cue from the authorities at the American Dental Association, Dr. Rowley emphasizes a preventive approach to dental care. Encouraging patients to schedule semiannual visits for checkups and professional teeth cleanings, by stopping by just twice a year, your dentist can keep a close watch over your oral health, spotting and addressing dental conditions early on, when they’re easiest to treat. Dr. Rowley makes use of the latest technology for your benefit, including CariVu, which detects cracks and cavities with pain-free light technology. Since inadequate oral hygiene is in large part responsible for the development of tooth decay and gum disease, your Whitewater dentist provides careful instruction in the best methods for brushing and flossing. Along with education about the effects of diet on your teeth and gums, your dentist helps patients achieve optimum oral health at any age or condition. Pediatric patients benefit equally from preventive care, and receive additional treatments which help defend their teeth against tooth decay.
For patients who have damaged or lost teeth due to injury, infection, or other dental emergencies, our office is fully prepared to provide the multiple levels of care you require. Spanning from treatments for toothaches, cavities, damaged fillings or prosthetics, to the highest dental grade restorative options, we’ve got you covered every step of the way. If your teeth are in need of repair or replacement, we can provide you with seamless results, from the state-of-the art in fillings and custom crowns, matched to the shade, shape, and proportions of your teeth, to the most lifelike bridges, dentures and dental implants. Dental implants are an excellent choice for replacing missing teeth, as they come the closest in replicating the look, feel, and function of your natural teeth. They also promote the health of your jaws and surrounding bone tissue, while helping to preserve the contours of your face.
When it comes to cosmetic options, Dr. Rowley has been known to produce remarkable results! Whether you’re considering professionally whitening your teeth or a smile makeover with porcelain dental veneers, the team at Whitewater Gentle Dentistry can truly revitalize your smile.
